Ken Kindt - Owner Signworld Corporation Ken Kindt was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He received his BS Degree from the University of Detroit and his MBA from the University of Hawaii. After college, Ken worked in a variety of managerial positions for the Ford Motor Company at Corporate Headquarters, Dearborn, Michigan. At age 32, Ken began his first business as a Certified Financial Planner in private practice counseling 240 wealthy clients about their income taxes and their investments. Ten years later, in 1988, at age 42, Ken founded Signworld beginning with his own very successful sign manufacturing business located in Sunnyvale, California. Signworld has grown steadily over the past twenty three years to an organization of 255 independently owned sign manufacturing companies spread across the United States and Canada. Ken’s greatest satisfaction has been helping people transition from a corporate job into starting and succeeding in their own custom sign manufacturing business. Ken is the Founder and President of Signworld and focuses most of his time on new business development, sales and marketing training for new owners, as well as ongoing operational support to all of the Owners. Over the past 23 years, Ken Kindt and Signworld have received 28 various industry awards for excellence and outstanding performance in their field. Ken enjoys work, travel, hiking, surfing, snorkeling and downhill ski racing (17 medals). He is a member of Big Brothers Of America as well as the Fundraising Chairman for Kona Christian Academy. — Honolulu, HI
