Laguna Hills, CA – May 25, 2011 – Ken Kindt of Signworld today announced that it has formed a formal partnership between its organization of 250 commercial sign companies and Advantage Sign Supply. This partnership will allow each Signworld Licensee the ability to take advantage of preferred pricing and service most of the products and materials they use on a daily basis.

Ken Kindt of Signworld highlights importance of free upgrade training to Franchise owners

Laguna Hills, CA – May 25, 2011Ken Kindt of Signworld today explained the importance of free upgrade training to all its franchise owners at the 23rd Annual Convention of Signworld held at the Monte Carlo Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.  The Signworld management decided to break away from tradition set by The International Sign Association Expo, which is touted as the sign industry’s largest trade show, and held their 23rd annual conference at a different time.
Signworld helps people start their own sign business with all the technology and resources available today, while helping them tailor their business to meet the demand for sign products and services in their own community.
Speaking on the occasion, Ken Kindt, Owner of Signworld said, “Signworld provides three days of upgrade training, most of which is taught by industry experts, and provides three meals a day as well as complimentary cocktail receptions each night of the conference.  There is NO cost to the individual owner outside of their travel expense”. “That’s got to tell you something about the type of organization that we are to be able to offer more training and support each and every year to a larger and larger group.”, added Ken Kindt

Ken Kindt Congratulates Marietta Signs for 2011 Large-Format Printer of The Year Award


Laguna Hills, CA – September 28, 2011– Ken Kindt, the President and Founder of Signworld, would like to congratulate Louis Deluca and his team at Marietta Signs, a Signworld operation in Marietta, GA for being awarded the 2011 Large-Format Printer of The Year Award by the Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia.

Ken Kindt, Owner of Signworld said, “They were given the award at The Celebration of Print, PIAG’s annual gala to celebrate their Print Excellence Competition.  Louis and his team were voted as the best sign company with under nine employees.”

Signworld Owner Ken Kindt Congratulates Signworks Inc for $76,000 ADA Signage Deal

Laguna Hills, CA – August 24, 2011Ken Kindt of Signworld today congratulated Sign Works Inc for ADA Signage deal.

Acknowledging, Cheryl Archer, Owner of Signworks, Ken Kindt said, “I would like to congratulate, Cheryl and her team for bagging this ADA Signage deal.”

Signworks, Inc is a Signworld location in San Leandro, CA. Cheryl and her team at Signworks, Inc. were recently awarded a public works project to produce custom ADA signage, tenant identification signs and several sets of dimensional letters to be placed on the exterior of a few public buildings.  The project in total was worth $76,000 worth of signage.

This project was the second time Cheryl and her team had paired with the construction subcontractor in charge of the building renovations.  Cheryl says, “We appreciate the opportunity to work with them again and look forward to more public works projects in the future.”

Ken Kindt of Signworld Announces Addition of Five New Signworld Locations

Carl and Desiree Vance from McKinney, TX will open Higher Power Signs. Carl was the VP of Engineering at Comcast Cable.

JB Meyer from Port Washington, NY will open Chief Signs. JB was the owner of Manhattan Ferry Boat Co.

Steve and Marshon Kempf from Liberty Lake, WA will open Mountain Dog Signs. Steve is a retired Lt. Col. from the Air Force.

Ken Kindt of Signworld Attends Signs & More 10th Anniversary Celebrations

Honolulu, HI – August 15, 2011Ken Kindt of Signworld today congratulated Larry Foster of Signs & More for their achievements on the eve of their 10th anniversary.

Speaking on the occasion, Ken Kindt said, “I would like to congratulate Larry and his team for their exemplary work throughout these years. Signs & More is celebrating its 10th anniversary sign manufacturing business. Larry has been a role model for Signworld owners and new entrants can learn a lot from him.”

Larry Foster, is the Owner of Signs & More in Troy and this is his 10th year in the sign manufacturing business as a Signworld Owner . Larry has previously worked for K-Mart in a variety of management positions before striking out on his own.

Appreciating Larry’s progress as a Signworld owner, Ken Kindt said, “Today, Larry owns his own 8000 square foot building and supervises a staff of six professionals.  Some of their top customers include Pick and Pull Franchise with 52 locations.  They buy over $100,000 each year of disposable indoor and outdoor signs.  Larry and his team also work with Flagstar Bank HQ and their 175 branches.”

Recently, Larry acquired Kerby’s Coney Island Franchise with 28 locations and worth about $50,000 per year of indoor throw away signage. Larry does over $75,000 a year of indoor ”short term use” posters for the bank.

And, for years Larry and his team have manufactured signs for several Chili’s Restaurants regions to include over 300 restaurants.  They buy roughly $60,000 per year of indoor posters.
Every year Larry’s sign manufacturing company grows in both sales and profits.  Today, 80% of his business comes from repeat customers every month; 10% comes from referrals and 10% comes from the internet.

Apart from Ken Kindt, the representatives from top management of Signworld also included Jack Warner, VP of Signworld. Applauding Larry’s achievements, Jack Werner said, “Larry’s personal salary has increased every year for the past 10 years, despite the terrible economic situation of the Detroit metropolitan area.
